At the present time we have openings for 2 Summer Bus Aides. 

*This position is currently only open to current internal NASD employees*

Job Requirements & Responsibilities:

• Maintains order and safety. Free driver to concentrate on safe driving practices.
• Demonstrates patience and understanding. Offer support and direction to children with behavioral difficulties.
• Provides physical assistance to students who have difficulty climbing on or off the bus.
• Enforces school discipline code on the bus and reports infractions to teacher and principal.
• Maintains confidentiality in discussing special education students.
• Works amiably and cooperatively with bus drivers, teachers, aides, parents, etc.
• Demonstrates punctuality and good attendance patterns.

Schedule:

Monday - Thursday

3-4 hours per day; final daily schedule will be determined once ESY routes are finalized

Rate:

Internal Candidates - will receive school year contracted rate
