A vacancy will exist for the 2025-2026 School Year for a 1st Grade Teacher in the Norristown Area School District located at Marshall Street Elementary School.

* Sign On Bonus - one time (In addition to Salary): $3,000

Qualifications: 

• PDE Elementary Certification required
• Experience working with school age preferred
• FBI, Criminal Background and Child abuse clearances
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred

2025-2026 Salary Schedule:

experience calculated per contract agreement not to exceed step 10

Bachelor's - $58,165 to $73,581 (Step 10)

Bachelor's + 24 - $62,490 to $81,256 (Step 10)

Master's - $66,299 to $88,419 (Step 10)

Master's + 15 - $69,165 to $92,419 ((Step 10)

Master's + 30 - $72,026  to $96,420 (Step 10)

Master's + 45 - $72,528 to $96,959 (Step 10)

Doctorate/Master's + 60 - $73,028 to $97,497 (Step 10)
