To become a Nurse Intern in Poudre School District you must complete the Nurse Intern application.  This application is for placements starting in spring 2025.

 

To be considered for an intern placement in one of our schools, you should:

  • be entering your final semester/year of a nurse program 
  • be able to pass a criminal background check, including submitting a complete set of fingerprints with the Colorado Department of Education/PSD
  • be enrolled in a college/university that has a signed internship agreement with PSD

Placements will be completed with the following criteria:

  • availability of qualified staff in requested areas
  • willingness of schools/staff to take an intern
  • outcome of internship interview between principal, lead/supervisor, and prospective intern
