Information specific to this position: The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of hybrid education models, the vital role of learning coaches (parents/guardians), and the collaborative role of teachers in supporting student success.
This position requires exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, educational expertise, and a proactive approach to supporting families and staff.

 

Key Responsibilities
? Serve as the primary liaison between families, learning coaches, and teachers.
? Develop, lead, and support initiatives that strengthen family-school partnerships in the hybrid learning environment.
? Provide training, resources, and ongoing support for learning coaches to enhance their role in student learning.
? Facilitate communication regarding student progress, school programs, and engagement opportunities.
? Collaborate with teachers to align home support with classroom instruction.
? Organize parent informational meetings, workshops, and engagement events.
? Support new families in onboarding to the hybrid learning model.
? Maintain consistent, responsive communication across platforms (email, phone, virtual meetings, in-person).
? Advocate for parent and student needs within the school system.
? Assist with school community-building activities and celebrations.

 

Required Qualifications
? Current K-12 Teaching Certification (Colorado or eligible for Colorado licensure).
? Strong understanding of hybrid/online learning models and the role of learning coaches.
? Knowledge of best practices in parent-school partnerships and family engagement.
? Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
? Ability to build trusting relationships with families from diverse backgrounds.
? Comfort with facilitating both virtual and in-person meetings and training opportunities.
? Technologically proficient (learning management systems, communication tools, video conferencing).

 

 

Percentage: 65%

 

Work calendar days: 188

 

Duration of position: Ongoing

 

Benefits include: PERA retirement, paid time off, short and long term disability, access to employee walk-in clinic, as well as other optional benefit elections. 

  

Pay for this position is determined by the Licensed Educator Salary Schedule based on years of experience and education. Range for position is $54,329 - $81,728 annually (based on a 100% assignment starting on the date the specific calendar(s) for this position begin). 

*These pay rates are based on the 2024-25 school year rates and will be updated when approved during the negotiations process around May 2025 for the 2025-26 school year* 

 

  

This is a probationary position. However, PSD employees currently under a licensed contract may apply for this position and if selected, will retain contract status. 

 
Must have a valid Colorado Educator's License with appropriate endorsement.
