Position Overview and Roles and Responsibilities 

This is a summer contract position. 

This is work providing instructional support, training and personal assistance to students with disabilities under the guidance and supervision of a licensed teacher. It is to provide assistance to the ESY. 

 

 

Qualifications 

  • You must be a current Teacher Cadet to apply.
  • Employees in this position must commit to the entire ESY 

 

Dates and Times

  • ESY Session: 4-hour days this year. 
  • Student days: June 30, 2025 – July 25, 2025 (July 3 and 4 are holidays). 
  • Staff workdays: June 25 – June 27 are . 
  • Staff work hours (5 hours per day):
    • Elementary 7:30 – 12:30
    • Secondary 8:30 – 1:30 
  • Coordinator/Secretary hours (6 hours per day):
    • Secondary 8:00-2:00
    • Elementary 7:00-1:00
    • Coordinators and secretaries report to sites on June 23rd.

Work location will be dependent on student and site needs.

 

Rates: Band 4
