Poudre School District is the 8th largest school district in Colorado and includes 54 schools and almost 5,000 staff serving approximately 28,000 students with one collective mission: to educate every child, every day. We exist to support and inspire every child to think, to learn, to care, and to graduate prepared to be successful in a changing world.

Based in Fort Collins, our district proudly supports 1,856 square miles in northern Colorado. Fort Collins is recognized as the #1 best place to live nationwide (Livability) and the #1 place in Colorado to raise a family (Business Week).

PSD is proud to be a top-performing district, recognized at the state and national level for student, staff, and overall district excellence. Each of our schools has been recognized by the state for either student growth on standardized tests or performance and achievement. If you review the list of Top 100 schools in Colorado, you will find that more than 10% of them are at PSD: that includes schools at the elementary, middle, and high school level. We are proud to announce our highest four-year graduation rate since 2010, with the CDE reporting an 87.3% graduation rate for the Class of 2024 (significantly higher than the statewide graduation rate of 84.2%).
